Queer + Therapy = Queerapy
“Queerapy” is playful and easy to remember. Therapy is often serious. Humor and play lighten the load and deepen connection.
Queerapy is a process of exploring your inner world and your relationship styles with someone who listens without judgment and accepts all of who you are. That alone is profoundly healing. Together we look for hidden meanings and patterns. What are your needs? What feels difficult? What is holding you back? What do you want to learn? Reclaiming marginalized aspects of yourself (parts that were split off due to trauma or repeated messages that they are not welcome) allows you to move through pain, bringing you more freedom and a greater sense of aliveness. My style is very relaxed, curious, open-minded and cooperative. If Queerapy is right for you, I will be honored to join you on your path toward deeper self awareness and wholeness.
My Master’s degree in Integral Counseling Psychology is from the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco, where in-depth clinical training blends traditional, humanistic and transpersonal practices. For more than 5 years, I have successfully collaborated with clients who identify as queer, trans, bi, lesbian, gay, genderqueer, sex workers, cross dressers, polyamorous, kinky, asexual, pansexual, heteroflexible, straight, spiritual, atheist…and more. I offer therapy to adults, youth, couples, poly triads and non-conventional partners and families. Short term solution-focused therapy or long term depth-oriented therapy are options depending on your needs at this point in your life.
